Elliott’s accomplishments were nothing less than thrilling.  Along with the aforementioned victories, he picked up two Blizzard series wins at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, an additional win at Gresham Motorsports Park, three victories in the Show Me The Money series at Montgomery Motor Speedway, and two wins in the Miller Lite series at Mobile International Speedway.

Add to this that he was the Blizzard Series champ, the Miller Lite Series Champ and the Gulf Coast Champion, along with recording 27 top five finishes, 37 top ten finishes and six poles.

All this he did against some of the toughest competitors in the country, including T.J. Reaid, who was often piloting a Toyota owned by Kyle Busch Motorsports, Bubba Pollard, Ross Kenseth, Augie Grill, Johanna Long, Justin Wakefield and countless others up and down the east coast.

Upon learning his season had been chosen as the historic moment for the state for the year, Chase was typically calm and collected, much as we’ve seen his father be over the years.

“It’s a great feeling to know that people understand how hard it is to go race; at any level really.  I am honored that we have received this award and couldn’t have done it without everyone who works so hard on the team and Aaron’s who has sponsored our racing efforts for the last three years.”

Elliott’s 2010 season came on the heels of being named the 2009 Rookie of the year, an award voted on by racers and fans from all over the country.  He picked up four wins in his first year behind the wheel of a Late Model, along with four poles, including setting a new track record at the refurbished Gresham Motorsports Park.  He became the youngest winner in both PASS series and ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour history, and picked up the 2009 GAS Series championship.

The future certainly looks bright ahead of the number 9 Aaron’s Ford.
